Melissa Lesh is a young filmmaker and recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was born in Panvel, India in 1991 and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. With her mother an Indian classical cellist, and her father a fine artist, she was given a love for the arts at a young age. Today she works closely with researching scientists to explain the natural world and help inspire through the art of film.
