Daniella Koffler Is an independent animation director and illustrator from Tel-Aviv, Israel. Recently graduated the “Bezalel” academy of arts and design, Jerusalem, Daniella currently works as a freelance animator and illustrator. Her first ebook for children “Nina’s day out” is about to be published this summer. Her first year film “The list” was screened at six international festivals including Stuttgart Trickfilm festival, Zinebi Bilbao, and the Jerusalem international film festival.

Her graduation film “Stairs to no end” was screened so far at eight international film and animation festivals, including “Zinebi” short and documentary film festival, “Monstra” animation festival in Portugal, RedCat international children’s festival in Los Angeles, and “Imagine” science film Festival, Dublin.

“Stairs to no end” was recently featured at the “Sort of the week” online magazine and selected to be a “Vimeo Staff pick”. She has recently received the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs travel grant to the participation in the “animation exchange forum”, Dresden. Prior to her studies in Bezalel, Daniella has completed a Master’s degree of European studies and a Bachelor’s degree of Art history, both obtained at the Hebrew university, Jerusalem. During her studies Daniella was granted scholarships of the European Forum, the Vienna university German studies scholarship and the EVZ foundation, Germany, as a participant in the joint project “Third generation in Israel and Germany”.
